Express / Overnight Transport

Express or Overnight Transport is a term associated to distributing freight from place to place at a service level or transit time, which is as fast as achievable without flying the freight.

It is important to understand the difference between Express and Standard or General freight services as a customer could be fooled into believing they have a low freight rate, when actually they are paying for a lesser service.

Express freight transit times would be from Sydney to Melbourne, Brisbane, and Canberra next day, Adelaide 2 days, Perth 3 to 4 days and country areas services between 1 and 7 days maximum. This compares to General freight transit times where all of the destinations are increased by 1 to 5 extra days.

A lot of businesses overlook the need for Express freight, believing an extra day or two not being critical to the customer. However a General freight provider may be a lower quality provider, resulting in more loss, damage and delayed freight. In addition to be successful delivering to your customer quickly ensures high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
